Rehabilitation Services

Assessments and treatments to help your pet recover from injuries.

Physical rehabilitation helps your beloved pet regain as much of their strength and mobility as possible so that they can enjoy a better quality of life. This treatment can only be performed by someone who is certified in animal physiotherapy and knows how to account for the animal’s abilities and recovery potential.

What rehabilitative equipment do you have?

We have partnered with our sister clinic, Hôpital vétérinaire Chambly in order to offer your pet the best care possible. At this location, we have an underwater treadmill, an 8 x 16-foot pool, a class IV laser for laser therapy, electrical stimulation therapy, ultrasounds, and more!

This equipment allows us to supplement our hands-on therapies and soft tissue massages with a range of different movements and exercises.

Who is animal physiotherapy for?

Animal physiotherapy most benefits pets with chronic pain, those who don’t qualify for orthopedic surgery and those who are recovering from surgery.

What are the benefits of rehabilitation programs?

Physical rehabilitation improves your pet’s quality of life while also:

  • Shortening the convalescent period for a faster recovery
  • Lessening the pain felt
  • Improving biomechanics, flexibility and performance
  • Increasing strength and endurance
  • Minimizing complications and inconveniences from more invasive procedures (e.g., surgery)
  • Preventing further injury
